Our Book
Growing up as military brats, my children have lived in places all around the world and most places that they have lived, they didn't attend schools with kids who looked like them and had hair textures like theirs. At one point my eldest daughter (pictured below), became self conscious about her hair. A conversation between she and I inspired me to write a book for other African American children who may struggle with embracing their uniqueness.
My babies are my biggest inspiration!!!
